The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things,

                                                                                         but their inward significance.

                                                                                                            ~ Aristotle

Ideas shape not only the actions of individuals, but also the course of the world. Every form of human expression and communication, from music, to paintings, to sculpture, to drama, or any other art form conveys some idea. By breaking down the study of arts and electives into these thematic ideas and linking them to everyday items students are already familiar with, our instructors make these elective courses very student friendly and relevant.  Our elective podcasts will also aid students in connecting the dots from subject to subject, creating a better understanding of thematic ideas that have shaped history and culture of the world. Students will learn the history and grammar of each elective discipline as well as the practical, technical points required to execute that art form.
